Fixing "stuck" email accounts
418 webmail
You can check your school email or send email messages from any computer in the world on the internet by going to the USD 418 district webmail server. You can find it at: http://webmail.mcpherson.com
You may also get your email when it is "stuck." If you try to retrieve your email with Quickmail and it says it's downloading a message, but seems "stuck," that means one of the messages you have in your account is corrupt and is holding up the others. The problem is usually a message sent out in some mass junk mailing. Log onto your quickmail account at the webmail site (link above) and delete all email you don't have to have/save. Then, log onto your account with quickmail. It should download the rest of your email properly.
Go to the link above and once you are there you are quickly redirected to the webmail server and presented with the login screen.
When you see the screen below, Enter your email username (firstname.lastname) and your email password. Click on the Log In button.
Once you are in, you have many options to read, delete and send email.
Click the Mail link on the left and click your Inbox to see new messages. Deleting messages here will cause them to NOT show up in Quickmail later on. (sometimes good (junkmail) sometimes not (things you may want to file into a quickmail folder.))
Leave messages here and you will see them again when you open Quickmail next time.
