Roosevelt School Improvement Goals

 

1. All students will demonstrate effective reading and communication skills in academic and applied situations.

  • Students will improve critical reading skills for the content areas
  • Students will improve written communication skills
  • Students will improve verbal and non-verbal skills
  • Students will improve listening skills
  • Students will improve technological literacy


2. All students will demonstrate a high level of mastery of essential math skills and complex thinking skills in academic and applied situations.

  • Students will improve estimation and mental math skills.
  • Students will develop problem-solving skills across the curriculum with computation, mental math, and estimation.
  • Students will develop a positive attitude and confidence in mathematics and problem solving.
