Ways
to help your child get ready for kindergarten:
- Let
your child do as much for him/herself as possible, such as self-care
skills and family "chores".
- Help
your child solve problems--Do not solve a problem for him/her, but
ask "What we do about this?"
- Encourage
children to help each other and to ask for help.
- Teach
children to watch other people to see how to do something.
- Give
children chances to talk and to listen in a group.

skills to help your child in kindergarten:

- Shares
objects and takes turns
- Shows
feelings in acceptable ways

- Plays
and works alone or with other children

on and zipping coat.
- Putting
