My
great-great-grandfather was Alexander Watson. I believe he was born
in Mecklenburg, NC. He married Charity Becket in Christian, KY. His
father was Robert Watson, who was born in Ireland in 1767. He married
Abigail Brown in North Carolina in 1792. I have not been able to find
his fathers name. My great-grandmother was Mary Watson, who was born
in Lowndes County, MS in 1832. She married three times and apparently
all three husbands died without children. She then married my great
grandfather Alfred Switzer. I am a high school Librarian in
Grenada,MS. Your home page is very impressive and I enjoyed reading

My family
genealogy has a John Henry Watson b. Sept. 04,1848 and his son,my

connection? We also have a David Watson in the family. In the olden
days they would use family names. It seems very coincidental! Except
our John was supposedly born in Oswego Co.,NY and Albert in Delta
Mills,MI. and I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Oh well. One never
knows! It was nice to meet you and your family. Nancy A. Watson Mahle
