My great-great-grandfather was Alexander Watson. I believe he was born in Mecklenburg, NC. He married Charity Becket in Christian, KY. His father was Robert Watson, who was born in Ireland in 1767. He married Abigail Brown in North Carolina in 1792. I have not been able to find his fathers name. My great-grandmother was Mary Watson, who was born in Lowndes County, MS in 1832. She married three times and apparently all three husbands died without children. She then married my great grandfather Alfred Switzer. I am a high school Librarian in Grenada,MS.
