Dr. Megan Hagaman was offered, and very excited to accept, the position of Assistant Principal at McPherson High School. Given her passion for student success and the focus she places on student improvement, we believe we have chosen a quality candidate to fill this position.

Dr. Hagaman, pictured here with daughter Tiana, grew up in Abilene, KS and graduated from Abilene High School. After high school, she attended Kansas Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Speech/Theater Education in December of 2007. Dr. Hagaman then began teaching Debate and Forensics in the El Dorado School District in the fall of 2008. She has also taught English, Finance and College Speech in the Abilene and Salina school districts. Dr. Hagaman has coached state champion debaters and forensics participants during her time with Salina Public Schools.
In 2015, Dr. Hagaman earned a Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Gifted/Talented education from Fort Hays State University. Dr. Hagaman earned a doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership from Baker University in 2020.
