The 8th Grade students will travel to WSU for a College and Career Day on April 11. Students will receive a welcome by Veronica Hill at the Marcus Welcome Center. After question/answer session, the students will tour the campus and the Koch Arena Concourse.
The students will return to McPherson and the Life Team Critical Care Transport from Hutchinson is to land their helicopter on the MMS football field at 1:30. After they have secured their landing, students will go into the auditorium to listen to the team tell their story of how they decided on this career path and what they had to do to make this career a reality.
The Life Team has made arrangements with the McPherson Fire Department to come and secure the area for a safe landing. Students interested in Medical Careers or this type of service will be able to get a close up look at the Air Ambulance. The team will be leaving MMS around 2:30 pm.
