Notice is hereby given that Unified School District No. 418, McPherson Public Schools, intends to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to interested general contracting firms for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services pursuant to K.S.A. 72-1155.
The district is seeking CMAR services for bond-related facility improvements, including work associated with the McPherson Bond projects. The work is anticipated to include renovation, addition, site improvements, and other related construction scope as determined by the district.
The district intends to use a three-stage qualifications-based selection process for selection of the CMAR firm.
The formal RFQ will be available on or after May 8th.
Firms interested in receiving a copy of the RFQ may submit a written request to:
Statements of Qualifications will be due before 2:00 PM on May 21st, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The district anticipates shortlisting three to five firms to advance to the Request for Proposals phase. Interviews will be conducted with shortlisted firms prior to final selection.
The district reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive informalities in the best interest of the district.
