Asbestos Hazard Response (AHERA)
McPherson Public Schools continues to comply with the Federal EPA and the State Of Kansas regulations regarding asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM). The Environmental Protection Agency issued asbestos regulations in response to the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) of 1986. The asbestos management plan is available at the Park Warehouse office. Management plans for individual facilities are available at each school building.
